"The fly I tied is a Rabbit's Foot Emerger, with it's intent to represent a fly in a vulnerable stage prior to its transition to an adult. Tom Rosenbauer of Orvis created this pattern, and it has had some incredible success on difficult trout that appear to be eating flies off of the surface. A great hook for it is the Allen Fly Fishing N304, as it has a short-shank and straight-eye, two desirable qualities that match perfectly with the pattern." - Tim
