Ava's Hi-Vis Parachute Adams (11:08)
Ava's Hi-Vis Parachute Adams is one of the most versatile mayfly dry fly patterns that I fish. I am using an AFF D103BL hook (down-eye, 1X-Long, dry fly hook). Check them out at www.allenflyfishing.com. The super hair body creates a translucent abdomen and with great segmentation. The McFlyLon post allows the fly to be seen in most fishing conditions. I use Dark Barred Ginger rooster cape hackle, I really like the color of the hackle and it elevates the need to use brown/grizzly hackle. The parachute style can resemble an emerging, dun and or spinner mayfly. I have used this pattern on many different types of mayfly hatches and have had success. So bust out your materials and get tying. To view RK's Fly Design complete fly collectionVisit www.facebook.com/RKsFlyDesign

Best hook for the money. Great barbless profile and is a proven fish holder. Even better when it's on sale so you can load up without putting a big dent in your wallet.
