I am not a skilled fisherman,but I have almost stopped using regular nylon tapered leaders.This turns my fly over so nicely,that I feel like I am attuned to the tippet.The butt floats nicely and the end sinks slowly.If I grease the end it floats a long time.I seem to experience less wind knots,too.All in all,a pleasing product.Oh,and very strong,especially for its light weight.I expect to get a couple seasons from each one.Two thumbs up !
I had never used a furled leader before and now I am hooked. My presentation noticeably improved. The bright color is a great strike indicator. And even though I didn't realize it was possible but the furled leader actually increases the sensitivity allowing me to feel the slightest strike allowing me multiple hook ups that I otherwise would have missed. I'm sold and will be getting a few more. Try one, you'll love it.
