    I contacted A.J. prior to a trip to Alaska for silver salmon. He recommended that I use these hooks and he was right on. They were everything I wanted for those tough fighters. Hooks stayed sharp and strong again and again as we landed Cohos 8 to 17 pounds. Many in our Laughing Trout Club use Allen hooks for their quality and affordable price.

    I was able to use this hook while tying flies with confidence and no concern with metal strength failure. Its sharpness and edge looks to be able to old its point . Good value for the price.

    I really enjoy the. Allen salmon hooks. They are very sharp and seem to hold their sharpness longer than other brand name hooks I've used. The price point is also another factor that draws me in. Great product.

    I'll never get my hooks anywhere else again. Never broke em, or lost a fish on them! And unlike other companies, where for a price like this, you may get 10 hooks.... Allen gives you 25. You'd be crazy to hook shop elsewhere. Period

    Super sharp point

    This hook has a very sharp point and I like the overall strength. Have yet to get one wet. I'll wager that if they bite they are caught and released to bite again. Good product and a good value. I'll be back for more.

    Look very good - sharp, strong hooks, nice shape, nice thin eye "return" - should tie a clean head. Hope to test them on some fish soon.
