    1. Great value Rating

Posted by Unknown on 26th Aug 2017

I bought the 6 wt Alluvion with a coupon w/ free shipping. The rod comes with a nice traveling case. Overall it is very light and casts very well. The fit and finish including the cork are good. I have no complaints and would buy another. I own a much more expensive Sage that does cast better and has a little better fit and finish but not worth the extra money. Stick with the Allen rods it's a real good value.

    2. 4wt Alluvion | Trout I Reel Rating

Posted by Pete G on 22nd May 2017

Just hit the Crooked River in Central OR, yesterday 5/21/17. First time on this river and first time with my new rod. Landed 15 fish from 8" up to 16" and lost at least that many. Absolutely love this rod/reel combo. I fish a Sage One/Hatch 4 Plus combo and Winston Passport/Ross Evolution combo. I would rate my Allen combo on par for a much more competitive price. You can't go wrong. I have a Heritage 3wt and Alluvion 3wt as well. All of this equipment is worth your fishing dollars. I highly recommend.

    3. Wow, GREAT rod! Rating

Posted by David F Merical on 18th May 2017

I bought the 6wt Alluvion. Its a very fun rod to cast. Its fast action, but not a broomstick. It can cast long, but still offers great control on short casts as well. This is a VERY capable rod. Its actually very FUN to use, and has quickly become one of my favorite rods. At this price....everybody should own one!

    4. Workhorse Rod Alluvion 9wt 9ft Rating

Posted by John Cooney on 9th Mar 2017

I use my Alluvion 9wt with my Karken reel to fish these Alaska waters for Reds, Cohoe, and Kings. It is a EXCELLENT workhorse combination. I would recommend this setup to anyone fishing these waters. Big Allen Fan!!

    5. Alluvion 6 weight, 9 ft. Rating

Posted by Bill Turner on 21st Feb 2017

I was working night shift when I received an email offering 40% off rods from Allen. I jumped on it and ordered a 9' six weight Alluvion fly rod. I recently broke a 9' five weight. It was not an expensive rod, but I liked it. I used it this past weekend and landed 20+ trout. Some were approaching 8 lbs. (I belong to a private club). I was very pleased with all aspects of the Alluvion.

I heard about this company through a long time fly fisherman buddy. I love this rod - top quality at a great price. Big Allen fan!

    7. Fast action at a great price Rating

Posted by Shaun on 23rd Jul 2016

I bought an Alluvion in 5wt and couldn't be happier with it. The action is fast (as advertised) and comparable to rods at a much higher price point. The green colorway is very nice in person and I will likely be adding a few more Alluvion rods to the collection down the road.

    8. alluvion 4wt fly rod Rating

Posted by David on 22nd Apr 2016

This rod is worth twice what they cost. It's hardware is tops. It cast like a dream. Even large streamers are no problem. This is my go to baby tarpon rod for the kind of places I fish. Tight confined spaces. 8lb poons no problem at all. Love this rod.

    9. Excellent Rods Rating

Posted by Jeremy on 13th Nov 2015

I have a 4wt (9') (paired with a trout II) and a 3wt(7'6") (paired with an ATS) and love them both. Excellent quality rods at a great price. I love the 3wt for tight creeks around here! I'm definitely looking to add more to the collection.

    10. Great rod for the money Rating

Posted by Josh Wynne on 12th Oct 2015

I received the Alluvian 9wt recently. I purchased it as part of a promotion and got a great deal on it. Even at full price, this is a great rod for the money.

The fast action feels great. It will come in handy flipping, and trying to send Clousers, GT Pinfish, and Bunny Flies to the reds, snook and tarpon on windy days on the flats.

The rod comes with a great case as well.
