    Alluvion 9 wt

Published by Unknown on 7th Aug 2020

Purchased the 9 wt to pair with one of my reels, being as it was on sale. It has been used for fishing good sized redfish and I am happy with the rod. I used it on a very windy day and I was able to punch through the wind, so overall a very good purchase.

    awesome rod

Published by Eric on 26th Apr 2019

Great rod, i do have a couple suggestions, I have the 8wt and the reel seat is hard to get tight on the reel, the tangs that hold the reel are too shallow to me and make it hard to get the reel tight on the rod. also I would love to see this in a 10wt at this price point.

    Redfish on the Gulf Coast

Published by Kenneth Darnall on 21st Jan 2018

Amazing action to target redfishand and sea trout in skinny water on the Gulf Coast. Throws all patterns, medium and short distances, spot on. Has the backbone to reach those far out. Beautiful rod with a great action.

    Great value

Published by Unknown on 26th Aug 2017

I bought the 6 wt Alluvion with a coupon w/ free shipping. The rod comes with a nice traveling case. Overall it is very light and casts very well. The fit and finish including the cork are good. I have no complaints and would buy another. I own a much more expensive Sage that does cast better and has a little better fit and finish but not worth the extra money. Stick with the Allen rods it's a real good value.

    4wt Alluvion | Trout I Reel

Published by Pete G on 22nd May 2017

Just hit the Crooked River in Central OR, yesterday 5/21/17. First time on this river and first time with my new rod. Landed 15 fish from 8" up to 16" and lost at least that many. Absolutely love this rod/reel combo. I fish a Sage One/Hatch 4 Plus combo and Winston Passport/Ross Evolution combo. I would rate my Allen combo on par for a much more competitive price. You can't go wrong. I have a Heritage 3wt and Alluvion 3wt as well. All of this equipment is worth your fishing dollars. I highly recommend.

    Wow, GREAT rod!

Published by David F Merical on 18th May 2017

I bought the 6wt Alluvion. Its a very fun rod to cast. Its fast action, but not a broomstick. It can cast long, but still offers great control on short casts as well. This is a VERY capable rod. Its actually very FUN to use, and has quickly become one of my favorite rods. At this price....everybody should own one!

    Alluvion 6 weight, 9 ft.

Published by Bill Turner on 21st Feb 2017

I was working night shift when I received an email offering 40% off rods from Allen. I jumped on it and ordered a 9' six weight Alluvion fly rod. I recently broke a 9' five weight. It was not an expensive rod, but I liked it. I used it this past weekend and landed 20+ trout. Some were approaching 8 lbs. (I belong to a private club). I was very pleased with all aspects of the Alluvion.
