    Great Value

We recently purchased these jackets and couldn't be more pleased. While they aren't what I would call expedition grade, they are perfect for keeping in a fishing vest or boat locker for an unexpected rainstorm. We found the Rivulet to be well constructed and comfortable.

    Rivulet Jacket

    Excellent value!
Small enough to stow in a pocket on my pontoon and worked perfectly in a summer downpour this week.

No brainer for the price. Good lookin as well. I keep it in the truck at all times so it’s available as conditions warrant its use.

    Lightweight with lots of features

Published by DF on 24th Jan 2016

This jacket is lightweight and packs very small but still has lots of features. The colour looks smart and is maybe slightly darker than in the picture above.

Features include long pit zips ( which are going to be very useful in hot weather), 3 outside pockets, and an internal pocket - the internal pocket has a very small slit, which I assume is for headphones. The sleeves can be cinched tight with velcro tabs and the hem is adjustable. The hood is an interesting and practical design, with 3 point adjustment which forms itself into a slight peak over your face when cinched tight.

All the zips are covered with storm flaps, with the main front zip having a double storm flap.

This now lives in a small stuff sack in my sling pack. I haven´t tried it in a downpour yet, but it easily shrugged off a few showers. I´ll have to wait until it gets warmer to check breathability.

Like many other Exterus products this is very good value and is at home both on and off the water.
