Great reel. Drag is flawless. Reel is always smooth and reliable. Its the only reel I use for big trout.
Kracken reels are better than reels 3 or 4 times the cost.

Adjustable and made with quality , bought a spare spool for quick swapping of lines. I love this reel and will buy again when adding a new rod.

Line destroyer
This real is pretty, drag is great, everything about the reel I want to love, however, the flaw come where the spool and reel meet. When I peel line from the reel, the issue is that the line is being shredded like cheese as it goes across the problem area of the reel. Very disappointing especially when line is 100.00 and you ruin it the first time out. If I could load up pictures of what I’m talking about I would. Other than that, I liked this reel a lot but never use for this reason

Beautiful reel, I have it on my 8wt Foundation and it is perfect. Huge arbor it fits an insane amount of backing on it. I’ve used it for Striper and I am hoping to take it red fishing soon.

This is my second Kraken reel. Absolutely love them zero issues always can count on it and super dependable. Fit and finish is superb. Cannot recommend higher.

Nice quality reel for the price great drag set and sealed bearing has a little weight to the reel but seem to balance out with the rod overall great reel for the price looking forward to purchasing another one soon
