If you are not useing slotted beads and 60 degree jig hooks, you are missing out. Especially if you are euro nymphing. The slotted bead helps aligni your tied fly so that your fly rides right in the water. These slotted beads are very fine and worth the purchase...heavy with good color

Tungsten beads
Quality of the beads has been great so far. The pricing for a package was the one of best that I found with some reasonable searching of the internet and local fly shops. Have been tying some euro style flies for the upcoming fishing season, but have not tried them on the water yet.

Loved the 5.5mm they fit great on a size 8 for euro streamers but I got the 4.6 hoping to put them on Sz 10 as they were correctly sized for that and the hole was too small on some of the beads to fit over the angle on the jig hook while other beads from the same pack fit just fine only complaint would be too small of holes
