tungsten ball beads
I am quite satisfied with this product. Both the quality and price have you leading the field. However, my only gripe is the orange is not the fire orange that I purchased last year. Bummer, this color really knocked the trout dead (figuratively) in winter. The current is ok I hope, but does not have the fire finish. Otherwise, a fine product at a reasonable price. Maybe add some other shiny, but subtle colors in the future.

Tungsten ball beads
Nice tungsten beads. Sink a little faster than lead to get nymphs down quick.

the beads worked as promised.
I have always been satisfied with Allen products.

Great Beads!
I am new to fly tying and these were some of the first beads I purchased. The wider hole on these make it much easier to get onto hooks (I have had some that are too small and will only fit a specific hook type and size) and you can't beat the price for the quality

Great Beads!
Tungsten is classified as a non-ferrous metal although it will be very mildly attracted to a strong magnet. Allen's tungsten beads exhibit classic tungsten properties, unlike "tungsten" beads from other suppliers. I have purchased other supplier's beads and found them to be strongly attracted to a magnet, which means that most likely they were made of steel, or not attracted at all to a strong magnet, which indicates completely non-ferrous like lead. These are truly great beads and run true to the advertised sizes.
