Description

The ATS reel series is for those budget-minded trout anglers looking for a fully machined, disc drag, mid arbor reel.  The ATS is CNC machined from the same quality barstock aluminum as our popular Kraken Series for rugged design at an affordable price!

    This reel is such great quality for the price. I purchased a size one to go with my 3wt and it matched up perfectly. It is able to make landing bigger fish on my 3wt a much easier task. It is my 3rd Allen reel and the craftsmanship and durability are the same as the others so I expect to be catching fish with it for many years to come.

    I purchased 2 of these reels for my 5 and 6 wt fly rods. I have used them 6-7 times in the past 2 weeks and they have performed exceptionally well! They handled large, line ripping 21-22" trout with very smooth drags, no binding or delays. I couldn't be happier and look forward to many years of use.     I have only fished with my new ATS on a 2 day trip. But, they honestly surprised me with how smooth my casting and over all fishing was with them. I have several Redington's that I will putting up for adoption soon! The ATS combined with the new Compass rods (4X & 5X) are one heck of a combo. Will report back after I have a chance to use them more.

    We stopped by the warehouse and the guys were awesome! They don't have a showroom per say, but they were more than happy to let us see the rod and reel. We left happy and have already caught many trout on this reel. Nice feel to it and the quality seems solid!

    I won’t buy any fly reels except Allen ! Smooth as glass drags, quality built and tough enough to stand up to the daily riggers of fighting fish - I couldn’t pass up their BOGO sale on this reel ! Allen is an incredible company making a quality product - how can you ask for anything more ? Very very satisfied with my purchase - I highly recommend the ATS series !

    It is a well built reel and has nice clean lines. I am very happy with the ATS...it is no Trout series real...but way above average for the price.
    Love the Allen product line!
