Jan 24, 2023: 7 baby tarpon and 5 snook on EP fiber baitfish patterns (white and olive/white) tied on these hooks( size 1). Great quality, super sharp, super stoked!
Love the finish on these hooks. They are not bright and shiny which I think puts fish off in clear water. Good quality.

This is all I use for sea trout, drum. Flounder and snook in Florida. Very stainless, sharp. Slightly open point and great price.
I bought a variety for Allen hooks at a fly shop in Titusville, Florida and liked them. When i asked for them again, they were out. I specifically wanted a couple of different styles and fund i could order them directly. So far they have been great. No compaints.
I've only tied these but they look nice. Appear to be stronger looking than my usual hook.
You can't beat the quality of these hooks for the price. Have been tying with them for he last 18 months. Solid hook that is uber sharp and great for crab patterns that I tie regularly. Similar competitor's hooks are 3X the price. Would recommend the complete Salt Water line of Allen fly fishing hooks and currently using for Permit, Bonefish, and Tarpon flies and had zero complaints.
A good hook for the price. I have tried other "Non TMC" salt water hooks and these appear to much stronger; similar to the 811S. I will be throwing these at Christmas Island Bonefish in November. I have confidence they will perform nicely.
These hooks are sticky, strong, and affordable. Our big bodacious Gulf Coast redfish have no chance. Another great Allen Fly Fishing product!
Searun Cutthroat hooks are good quality, strong. Price is better than average.
