    Iv'e never been disappointed with hooks from Allen. The quality is great and the price is price is right.

    I have been a long time customer of Mustad streamer hooks and Tiemco nymph and dry fly hooks. I've found Allen to be of good quality and have never broken a hook in my vice, as I have with the others. I'm sold and a loyal customer now.

    I use these hooks in size 8 - smaller than mopst people - for streamers for Lake Erie tributary steelhead and find that they are excellent. Hooking percentage is as good as hooks costing far more and I have never had a hook fail. I also use them in this size for streamers for inland trout in Western NY.
