Product Description
The Heritage Series is the reward from years of development to blend a classic trout rod action with modern refinements. The mid flex has been fine-tuned to perfectly suit the modern angler. Cast small dries and nymphs with delicate presentation, protect fine tippet when the riser you were stalking turns out to be the pool boss, and discover its reserve power when more demanding casting situations arise. Presentation is king with the Heritage series, but the other aspects haven't taken the back seat. Flex and recovery pair perfectly with excellent balance. The American tradition of fly fishing for trout is alive and well with the Heritage Rod Series.

Sick Dry Fly Rod Broski
I got this in a 5wt during the BOGO sale along with a Volant 6wt (badass streamer and mouse stick) and figured I’d be happy if it didn’t fall apart. Turns out it’s a super sweet rod. I paired it with a lamson liquid reel and an orvis line and I took it out on the Upper Delaware river a few nights ago to test it out. It’s a medium fast action rod which is great for delicacy and presentation to finicky trout. Caught a nice buttery 16 inch brown on a sulphur and the rod handled it like a champ. Cant wait to tie into a 24 incher. Tight lines lads.

Heritage Rod series
I acquired a 3 and a 4 weight Heritage Rod for my 9 and 13 year old daughters. These rods are light but swift and my daughters, being new to fly fishing, are casting great with them.

Heritage 6 WT
Bought this 6 WT as part of the BOGO sale thinking it would be a good popper rod for bass. I have a local central PA tailwater that holds multiple species from trout to bass to carp and muskie, and have been testing it there for last few weeks. I'm very surprised with the sensitivity of this rod for being a six WT. It casts very light dry flies exceedingly well and the targeting under hanging trees and in situations requiring a reach cast or roll cast it continues to surprise me. It has six WT backbone, but 4 WT feel in lighter leaders and tippets. It feels like a near perfect matchup for larger trout creeks like Penns or Pine Creek. It has enough power to throw larger poppers and Sculpzillas with ease and I'm looking forward to testing it on Smallmouth on the Juniata River. I also bought an 8 WT Compass which I haven't test yet but look forward to when we sight muskie. The rods shipped to me in under a week and I will definitely purchase at least one more of the Heritage line this year. My only concern is that the cork handle (which is very comfortable) feels a little less solid, as if it isn't fully glued to the rod. I can feel movement in the handle when casting long double hauls. All in all, a very nice rod for the price point, and comparable to more expensive rods in my quiver. Allen puts out a solid rod for the money.

4wt Heritage Allen Fly Rod
I have caught a lot of fish on this rod in the last few weeks. Light and delicate, presents the fly beautifully but with enough power to throw the fly to the fish. (Rainbows and Brook Trout/ Northern WI)

heritage 4wt
really an incredible rod, caught a 5 pound carp and a 6 pound catfish and landed both of them.

Heritage 5wt
Solid performer with both sensitivity and backbone. I always feel a balance of control when handling a sizable fish with this series rod. It has increased my landing/net ratio. I just love this rod!
